Katie Couric recently posted a video to the Silicon Valley Moms Blogs with some really interesting stats about the power of mom bloggers.

The key stats:

- 36 million women read or write a blog every week and are interested in politics, the environment, the economy and being moms.

- 46% of mommy bloggers have contributed to a cause or a political campaign. That makes us the most active and engaged group online.

- $2 Trillion is spent by women every year.

Women bloggers are a force to be reckoned with - well worth advertisers budget and attention!
